Program Objectives:

The Associate Degree in Accounting has the following educational objectives:

1 - To provide students with the tools of accounting practice.
2 - To prepare participants to have a commitment to quality, timeliness and continuous improvement.
3 - To prepare participants to communicate effectively and function effectively in teams.


Program Outcomes:

Graduates of this program will be able to: 

1 - Compile and analyze business records

    Accounting Summer Internship
This is a summer internship experience for accounting students. Under the instructor’s supervision, each student must participate in a structured period of eight weeks in the accounting section in a selected economic organization. The course is designed to provide each student with the necessary education, technical, and people skills to be successful in an accounting position. The student must write a report about his summer internship.
